Conmar had been keeping one of Major Zipper Brands since the name registered in 1934 to ended around late 60s. They were used so often on US Military Clothing and Equipments from late 30s through 60s. This brass #5 separating zipper is presumed to be made in around 1945. The zip style and the tape color are very good for the replacement on the military jackets made from 1944 to 1946, such as B-10, B15, B-15A, N-1 deck jacket ....
