US NAVY M-44 Denim Trousers, Repro.(M.O.C.)
At the time of WWII, "US Navy Denim Trousers" had two types, a bell-bottom type with a patch pocket on the front and a straight type with a side pocket. The trousers reproduced this time is the straight type. Until the war, it was a "Dangaree Working Uniform (Chambray Shirt & Denim Trousers)" that was prohibited from being worn in a conspicuous place such as Deck, but in the war, it was widely used as combat uniforms for soldiers and non-commissioned officers. "US Navy M-44 Denim Trousers" are now completed !!
All the details are as follows.

Reproduction Sizes: 30W-30L/32L/34L, 32W-30L/32L/34L, 34W-30L/32L/34L, 36W-30L/32L/34L, 38W-30L/32L/34L
Note) 5 types of Waist (Waist Circumference) and 3 types of Inseam, totaling 15 sizes
1) Front Button & Pocket Bag:
"USN M-44 Denim Trousers" reproduced using Denim Fabric same spec of 10.5 ounce military denim developed in the early 30's. The pocket bag is used the same denim fabric as the main body.
2) Back Pocket:
A large patch pocket, a shape peculiar to "NAVY Trousers" of this era.
3) Button:
"14mm diameter / black / urea resin button" were often used for US Navy clothing during the war.
4) Buttonhole:
Buttonhole type traditionally used by the US Navy.
5) Denim-Surface:
The 10.5 ounce military denim which is appered the warp threads dyed with indigo dye on the surface is enjoyable the unique change in color and the feeling of hitting each time you wash and use it.
6) Denim-Back Side:
10.5 oz military denim with ring spinning (weft yarn) can be seen a unique texture of the welt yarn which called top die on the back.
Note) Top Die: A spinning method in which the cotton dyed in dark blue at the cotton stage and the produced cotton are blended and spun into a specific light blue thread.
7) Sewing Thread:
"M-44 Denim Trousers" sewn with "100% Cotton, Black 40/3" sewing thread same as original.
8) Contract Label:
Contract label "NXsx 71521" presumed to contract in July 1944
9) Chain Stitching at the Side:
Trousers bodies sewn with 5/16 inch width double chain stitching
10) Chain Stitching at the Bottom:
The bottom finished with chain stitching same as original
