This Crown zipper was dyed piece in Black color by us for the replacement of the zipper mainly for 40s-50s Motorcycle Leather Jackets. The zipper itself is NOS(New Old Stock) from 1947-52.

When you shorten your zipper:
When you shorten the zipper, you will notice that the original tape color(Olive Khaki) before dye will appear at the zip tape part which the teeth have been taken off. Please dye or paint the undyed tape part by yourself, if it is necessary. Please refer to the How to Dye your Zipper.

• Attached leather Tag(Black): It is not original, reprodused by us with steerhide, Cotton thread(20/4). It is a kind of our service for the customers who requested. If you don't need the leather tag, please leave the message "I don't need a leather Tag." at the comment field.
Top Stoppers:
You can see the very unique top stop at Crown 2nd model #10. It is stopped by a pin and a notched metal disk(refer to the photo). 5 pins and 1 notched metal disk is attached with the zipper. It needs a special press tool to press the pin at the space between the 2nd tooth and 3rd tooth from the top. But It should be possible for you to reconstruct a nipper or any suitable tool as a substitute for the special press tool.
