Knit Color in Brick Red
Aero Leather Clothing Co. in Beacon City in N.Y. is well known as one of the major manufacturers of Government contractors during WWII for Leather Flight Clothing. They had contracts for A-2 Jacket 7 times in total during WWII. Among of them, two types of A-2s were manufactured with Brick Red knit parts. And the A-2(W33-038ac 1755) manufactured by J.A. Dubow was also known as the A-2 with Brick Red knit parts.
Note) The Aero Leather Clothing Co. existed in Beacon City, N.Y. in early 30s to late 40s is very well known manufacturer among the WWII flight clothing collectors. This manufacturer has nothing to do with the similar(same) name of the manufacturer which produces flight clothing in UK now.
