How to sew The Tab for attaching oxygen mask retainer clip on your Flight Jacket ! !
There were variations in original flight jackets for the sewing method of the tab.
They depended on the type of jackets, style of manufacturers and so on. We introduce here the standard sewing method.
Cut in 5" long.

Put the webbing direction as the left illustration. Turn 1/4" at the right edge of the tab and sew the both turned edge in 1/16" stitch from top to bottom.
Put the turned side to the under, sewn side to the left. Turn 1/2" at the top and bottom of the tab. Put the sewn side along the stitch of the sewing zipper of the jacket as the left illustration and sew top, right and bottom(no left side) 2 times on the jacket. First sewing is required to sew in 1/16" stitch from the edge of the tab and the second sewing is required to sew along the first sewing in 1/4" distance from the first stitch.
