The M65 Parka was standardized by the US military in 1965 as a successor to the M51. The difference with the M51 is that the M51 had an integrated hood and body design, but the M65 had a removable hood. Like the M51, this parka is also called a "Mods Parka." Nowadays, it is extremely difficult to obtain the original parka, so this is a proud product created in collaboration between M.O.C.(MASH) and MIL-TEC (Sturm Handels GMBH), the world's largest wholeseler of military surplus items.
