This horse hide gloves(a contract name: GLOVES, HORSEHIDE, RIDING, UNLINED) that adopted by US ARMY in 1939 made originally for officers in the Cavalry but use opportunity were very few in WWII. However this glove were used by airborne troops crew who need leather gloves. Today as this thing, this gloves is known in collector and they are call "PARA Gloves" or "Jump Gloves". The reason why airborne troops crew love to use is this glove constructions are consistent with their necessity. Using tough and smooth horse hide for body, glove length is enough long to cover wrist and wrist strap that can be adjust makes glove hold at wrist, everything were handy for airborne troops crew. This gloves was the most popular in all kinds of gloves they used, this fact tells how this gloves tough and handy.
