It is hardly known that the pen caps placed in the lower part of the left sleeve pen pocket of the early (1949-65) USAF flight jacket and flight suits are also classified according to the times. Introduced here is a press molded steel pen cap in golden color , which can be called a prototype or 1st model before plastic molded type started to use. The pilots at the time called it "Lucky Golden Bullets" because of the shape and the color.
