How to attach CELL TIPS (Aglets)
We introduce here how to attach "Cell Tip" at the end of drawcords and elastic cords.
Insert the "Cell Tip" cut to 2.1 cm into the cord in advance before apply an adhesive liquid.
Apply the adhesive liquid to the mounting position. The applied length is the same as the length of the "Cell Tip" and apply the adhesive liquid as thin as possible.
Note) Use Water-based adhesive that becomes transparent when dried.
Move the "Cell Tip" to the mounting position. Wipe off the extra adhesive liquid that protrudes out of the "Cell Tip" with a cloth or tissue.
Blow hot air with a dryer against the entire "Cell Tip" that has moved to the mounting position.
The "Cell Tip" heated by the hot air from the dryer gradually shrinks and glued to the cord.
The "Cell Tip" that contracts to some extent and adheres to the cord does not contract any further. If you want to make it a little thinner, press the iron (medium temperature: 150 C) to roll it, and it will be a little thinner. Please try it.
Shape while warm and cut 3-5 mm from the edge to complete!
Note) The length of the "Cell Tip" at original cord is usually 15-18 mm. The length to be cut should match your own preference or the length of the "Cell Tip" already installed.
