US AAF Officer Horsehide Gloves, - 1942 Tan Model -, Repro.(M.O.C.)
"AAF Officer Horsehide Gloves" has been known for a long time among AAF collectors. Some people think that it was not officially adopted, but from the common markings of the original gloves left and the photos at the era, the supply to mainly AAF officers was presumed to start in 1942-43. And it is also known that it was used by many airborne members after that. Following the 2018 reproduced camel color, this is the reproduced tan color that is often seen in originals!
